FENTON 2003 BURMESE Vase Showcase Dealer – Signed by George W. LIMITED EDITION #103 of 1950. Also, signed by the designer, J. Spindler and the hand painter, B. This item is in a’near new’ condition. Previously displayed only in my personal collection. It is a beautiful A+ piece with no chips, voids or cracks. Please, also, see the pics for this item’s condition as an additional documented portion of the item description. This is a gorgeous. Of Fenton Art Glass history. This is a lovely piece of Fenton Art Glass done in Burmese glass (glows under a black light due to the uranium in the glass mixture) that with the gold accents, makes quite a statement. The design is that of J. Spindler (Robin) which was one of their few designers in 2003 when this was created. It has the black on silver Fenton sticker label and the calligraphy’F’ ink stamped insignia Fenton logo. This also has the signature of George W. Fenton / 2003 with the LIMITED EDITION number being #103 of the1950 piece limit being made. The beauty and uniqueness of this vase was done by the artisans of the blown art glass making industry with the greater than 100 years of expertise at the Fenton Art Glass plant in Williamstown, West Virginia. This decorative art glass making process is a conglomeration of the many artisans at the factory but this art form is now in jeopardy; getting quite scarce, with the closing of one factory after another. This is a hard one to part with – it is sssooooo special, it has a lot of the Fenton class going on! Every home should have a piece of Fenton Art Glass to’have and to hold; to delight people of all ages! This item is an exquisite piece; a part of the history of glass making in America. Thank you for looking!
